Power to the Pinot (Noir) – wine tasting
Did you know that Germany is the third biggest producer of Pinot Noir in the world?
A grape that loves warm spots in cool climates, Germany produces some excellent examples of delicious Pinot Noir (or Spätburgunder as it is known there) with a charming, light and fruity character.
On 21st February 2017, Wines of Germany and the German Gymnasium invite you to attend an exclusive Pinot Noir tasting, showcasing some of the best examples of Pinot Noir that can be bought in the UK. A chance to try wine from some of Germany’s leading producers (as well as some gems from the smaller vineyards) and to discover your perfect Pinot Noir, the German Gymnasium sommeliers and the Wines of Germany team will be on hand to introduce you to the wines.
