The 2020/2021 German Wine Queen was crowned in September; congratulations to Eva Lanzerath from the Ahr! 

“We will have a really great year and together we will carry our passion for German wines into the world”, said a joyous Eva Lanzerath immediately after her election. After eight years, the 22-year-old prospective primary school teacher brought the German wine crown back to the Ahr.

As the 72nd German Wine Queen, Eva Lanzerath will be on the road for a year on behalf of the German Wine Institute (DWI). She would usually attend around 200 appointments at home and abroad as an ambassador for German wine. “In this exceptional year, we again have a very talented German Wine Queen and two extremely competent German Wine Princess, whom we wish as many opportunities as possible for them to present their great expertise”, explained Monika Reule, managing director of the DWI.
