The Big G Trade Tasting comes to Edinburgh!

Wines of Germany UK is thrilled to invite all members of the trade – from retailers to importers, sommeliers to on trade buyers, media and educators – to the Big G trade tasting, 2025 edition!

Monday 12th May, 15:30 – 20:00

The Scotsman Hotel, 20 North Bridge, Edinburgh, EH1 1TR

This year, the event will partner with key importers to explore wines already available in the market, while a table dedicated to Generation Riesling @generationriesling, a group of up-and-coming German producers, will feature diverse and innovative wines from some of Germany’s best and brightest young producers.

The evening will be topped off with a Sekt reception and canapé supper, allowing attendees to chat, network, and make use of the venue’s stunning covered terrace.

The walkaround tasting will comprise two key elements:

  • Hosted importer tables showcasing a diverse range of wines already imported into the UK
  • A dedicated self-pour Generation Riesling table

Join us for an evening of discovery, networking, and exceptional wines!

Sign up here (strictly UK wine trade only).
