The German Wine Institute (DWI) is now a supporter of the renowned Institute of Masters of Wine (IMW).
The DWI has joined the IMW’s international support community as a main sponsor, continuing a collaboration that has already seen the DWI run and support the formidable ‘Stage 2 course’ of the IMW seminar in Germany.
Collaboration at the next level
“The Institute of Masters of Wine is one of the most outstanding institutions in the wine world, with which the DWI has been working for many years. Our most recent partnership culminated in the hosting of the Institute’s International Symposium in Wiesbaden in 2023. We are therefore delighted to take our collaboration to the next level by now officially becoming a supporter of the IMW,” explained DWI Managing Director Monika Reule.
The Managing Director of the IMW, Julian Gore-Booth, shared his joy about the cooperation with the DWI. “After the DWI co-organided the IMW International Symposium in Wiesbaden last year and has supported the institute for many years, this step is more than justified. We are very pleased that this ongoing and valuable cooperation is now given a contractual framework,” emphasized Julian Gore-Booth.
