Top of the Crops 2018: The Results
Now in its fifth year, Wines of Germany as redesigned Top 50 with the all-new Top of the Crops – which aims to seek out some of the best examples from some of Germany’s top winegrowing regions. On Wednesday 7th March, a team of expert judges from the UK wine trade met at Bedales, Borough Market to find the Top of the Crops 2018, whittling down hundreds of entries to 35 winners.
The expert panel of judges included: Mark Flounders, Dawn Mannis, Jimmy Smith, Paul Laurie, Dan Belmont, Gus Pollard, Harry Lobek, Alex Hunt, Jamie Avenell.
