Wines of Germany UK is delighted to be celebrating a win at the International Wine Challenge awards earlier this month. The ’31 Days of German Riesling’ campaign picked up the prize for the best Consumer Campaign of the Year 2018.
The judges loved that the campaign ‘goes from strength to strength each year, the 2017 31 Days of German Riesling activation saw a 286% sales increase in participating outlets during July 2017, vs 115% in the previous year, with over 264 participating outlets nationwide.’
Wines of Germany UK director, Nicky Forrest said, ‘Our 31 Days of German Riesling campaign has won several industry awards. I think what it does well is that it targets both trade and consumers in equal measure and helps to both sell more Riesling across the UK but also gets consumers excited and trying the wines. It works on several levels and of course we are thrilled to have won this award from the IWC, the Oscars of the wine world!’
