Calling all importers!
Wines of Germany UK is on the hunt for Germany’s Winning Wines 2023 and we need your wines!
The competition aims to showcase the energy, skill and dynamism that continue to define the German viticultural scene.
Each wine will be tasted blind by the specialist panels who will only know the grape variety, region, vintage, price, and sector (on trade, off trade or both). The wines with the highest scores will then form Wines of Germany’s bank of ‘Germany’s Winning Wines’ for 2023, and will be promoted to consumer press, social influencers, consumers, members of the trade and wine writers.

How can you get involved?
German producers who have representation in the UK must enter through their importers. Importers may submit two wines per producer for consideration – i.e. if you have four producers, you can submit a maximum of eight wines.
Wines must be submitted into one of the following categories:
- On trade
- Off trade
- Both
If you would like to enter your German wines to be judged by the panel, please complete the online form once per wine, providing your contact details and information on each wine by Friday 3rd February 2023: registration form!
It is free to enter, and the only costs incurred at this stage will be the provision and delivery of samples!
