Regent

Red grape variety, bred in the 1960’s, more tolerant against fungal diseases.

Rheingau

Wine growing region in Germany, most famous for its high quality Rieslings. A small but decent amount of Pinot Noir is also grown here.

Rheinhessen

The biggest wine growing region in Germany, in many parts located close to the Rhine River. Rheinhessen has a wide range of different grape varieties and diversified types of soil.

Riesling

The most famous and most important German grape variety. Top quality Rieslings are said to be amongst the best white wines in the world and some have ageing potential on a par with the best red wines from top regions such as Bordeaux and Burgundy.

Rivaner (Müller Thurgau)

White grape variety. Mülller Thurgau wines usually have a fruity, light and fresh character.
